The Problem
The abandonment, neglect, and death of elderly and veterans before, during and after disaster strikes.
My name is John Allison and I am the founder of Hands Over Homes. My background is in rebuilding communities, completing repairs, and restorations. I’ve been a builder of many things my whole life, but have always been focused on rebuilding places destroyed by disasters. After bearing witness to several hurricanes and their path of destruction that was left behind, a harsh reality of its toll hit home for me. During disasters, our veterans and the elderlys endure mistreatment at the hands of those put in place to care for them.
Due to non-working generators and lack of basic necessities, many residents suffered heat strokes that resulted in death.

Whether you’re looking to spend time or money helping those who’ve served us, you can find a way to get involved.
Hands Over Homes is a new 501C non-profit organization. We are in the field start phase or phase 2 of our non profit build and could use some help. We are ready to take donations, volunteers, supplies and love to veterans caught in the path of disaster. We are fully operational and ready to achieve our mission. It’s taken 2 years to build HOH out of the administration and into the field, please see our cause and help us protect those service men, women and their families from being abandoned or abused.
